I got the opportunity to host for DirecTV's n|3D network at E3

I spent my third day at E3 working with DirecTV's n|3D network to bring some amazing video game coverage of the best in 3D gaming. We shot with a full crew all day and i was able to interview the developers of games like Battlefield 3 3D from EA, Sega's House of the Dead -Overkill in 3D, Sony's Uncharted 3 3D, Resistance 3 3D, Rachet and Clank All for One in 3D, and God of War 3D.All of the developers were so passionate about their games and some have spent over 3 years developing these!

The n|3D network will be showing you what it takes to get these games to 3D and where the world of 3D gaming is going. I can't wait to see how everything turns out and it will be shown on DirecTV's channel 103. I will let you know when they are ready for viewing. From a hosting perspective it was really a dream job and so much fun!

A HIGH light of Michelle Hummel's: 3D interview with Snoop Dogg at E3 2011

I was able to interview one of the few celebrities at E3 2011 this year. Snoop Dogg was there promoting YooStar which is cool game where you can star in your favorite scenes and I had a chance to talk to him about which one is his fave, his new GGN project and what smoke would look like in 3D. He was very enthralled with the 3D camera. He even invited us out to his van after to see how the smoke rollin' out would look. We never made it there but I will find you next time Snoop!

I am so excited about Squarespace sponsoring This Week in iPad! I am a huge LOVER of Squarespace -- this is what my site is built on and I have been building other client websites on this CMS. It is so user friendly and the templates are so easy to customize and as a design tweak the CSS and alter colors, sizes, sections.

As a designer I never seemed to have the time to design my own site but after spending time on the back end of a client's site built on SS I was sold. Now I tell everyone about it.

The widgets are amazing and always work and make the site full of everything you really want it to consisit of. So thank you Squarespace! I will be reviewing their iPad app on the show today and will be sure to post the video when it is live. Having the app on iPhone and iPad makes blogging a breeze.

I join This Week In -iPad team as a host

Guest Host on ThisWeekIn - iPad

I am pysched to be working with Andrea Rene again on 3/11/11 whom I met during the Mahalo Daily V-Log Idol deal. Long story... but I got to meet the great peeps of Mahalo who started ThisWeekIn Network which is very cool. This Friday I will be guest hosting ThisWeekIn - iPad at 4pmPST. We will be talking everything iPad which of course covers news of the iPad 2 launch, fun iPad app games as well as the top music apps for Planet of the Apps. Hopefully if I don't F it up -- it could turn into something more permanent :-) I will post vid after it airs. Check out all of the shows on ThisWeekIn.com.

2011 NBA All-Star Weekend was a blast!

The weekend started on Friday where I had a great spot up in the Sony Playstaion lounge where they were gifting all of the All-Stars and other players customized NBA All-Star 2011 Playstations and they also were able to custom etch their name and a design in them.

I would have to say my highlight was meeting the big 3 in the hallway where LeBron said I had a nice smile. The media floor was a frenzy and I had a chance to talk to Blake Griffith before the slam dunk, Kevin Love (I am from MN so big fan), KG, Bosh, and Pao. This was after the player practice which was very cool to watch. We also were able to go to the Celebrity game where Justin Bieber was MVP but showed some speed.

I ended the weekend on a high note getting to go the game. Not only did we get to see all of the greats play together we saw Rhinna, Drake and Lenny Kravitz preform which I had no idea was happening!

Booked the Pioneer Electronics Job!

I am very excited to have come on board with the Pioneer Electronics project. After spending the time memorizing a full page of technical heavy copy for the audition it was definitely worth it! They are launching a whole new line of AV recievers and some amazing Apple Apps to go along with them and will be announcing everything March 7, 2011. I will be the face on all of the videos explaining the cool specs and features. I look forward to working with them over the course of the year and increasing my knowledge in the home/audio field. So far the shoots are going great and it is a lot of fun working with Frequent Flyer Productions. Zach knows his stuff! I will be posting the videos as soon as they are live on www.PioneerElectronics.com.

Finally got around to getting my site up!

Even though I am a web/graphic designer I have to say designing your own site is never fun. So I decided to use squarespace and have found it to be a great experience. It was what I decided to do tonite on a Saturday instead of cleaning my closet out...which is in a very sad state. I mean...this is just so much more fun. I can make pretty art on a page all day but nothing better than some good SEO and a really dynamic site, that as a host I can update all the time.

I am hoping to write about lots of cool tech things and more. I had a great audition today for one of the TOP electronics companies which could bring great things and fit right into my nerdy lifestyle. Fingers crossed.

I will include one idea I designed but realized it would have been a beast to code yet I thought it was fun to put together. Maybe next time...
